The podcast format is engaging and varied and even though it discusses heavy topics, it is upbeat and inspirational. I give AJ and A.Rae and Wandering Musings two enthusiastic thumbs up!

OUR AJ

AJ is a sassy single mother to an equally sassy and free-spirited
12-year-old young man. No animals, she’s not as motherly or brave as A.Rae.
She works full time, and in her free time reads historically
inaccurate romance novels, murder mysteries, and anything else that looks interesting. Yes, she judges a book by the cover and still prefers a good old fashion hard copy over an e-book. Trips to the library or bookstores are her passion. Someday, a house with a Beauty and the Beast library is her dream.
AJ also enjoys puzzles although she often loses her wafer-thin patience and gives up for months before returning to said puzzle. The dining room table is for puzzles, not eating. She enjoys cooking shows, although she’d rather eat take out or someone else’s cooking rather than be bothered to cook herself.
Life is full of adventures and mistakes waiting to happen;
AJ typically takes every hard road available, but always comes out on top with a smile and semi good attitude.
She can’t wait for this new adventure with one of her best friends A.Rae… Just you wait for the time of your life with them! You never know what can happen with 2 Mamas After Dark!
OUR A.Rae
A.Rae is a mother of two sassy young human men, four strong independent dogs, eight cats (all indoor divas), six clucking chicken ladies, one ornery old man rooster, three quaking duck hens, and three strong willed drakes.
She lives on a small homestead that she and her husband are creating together. Secretly? Okay, not so secretly, A. Rae dreams of a few Nigerian goats, a couple of Kune-kune pigs, some horses, and of course enough energy to manage them all! Dreams…
Life lessons are the journey, and A.Rae is grateful for the lessons that she has been given throughout her life. More specifically the precious knowledge that comes with/from them. She looks forward to her new lessons, as she is passionate about learning. You'll often find her with a book, a screen (reading), watching documentaries and how to dos, and then out exploring through trial and error how to put those things into practice. She loves the arts in all of its beautiful forms. A.Rae enjoys being active in the arts, and encouraging others to experience them as well.
A.Rae is looking forward to this new adventure, especially because she gets to do this with one of her best friends, AJ! She says, "You all will love and adore AJ as much as I do!"
